Mr. Knecht was born in Flint, Michigan, November 6, 1953. He graduated from Duke University in 1975, and from the Detroit College of Law in 1979. Mr. Knecht maintains memberships in the Genesee County Bar Association (past president), State Bar of Michigan (2002 Chairman of the Negligence Section), American Inns of Court (past president) and Community Foundation of Greater Flint (president). Mr. Knecht's law practice includes working with small to medium sized businesses, Non Profit organizations, residential and commerical real estate matters, Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney for Health Care and Finances, elder law, estate planning, wealth transfer, together with business and probate litigation.
