Mr. Mello focuses his practice on representing injured workers before the Division of Workers Compensation and the disabled seeking disability benefits through the Social Security Administration. Mr. Mello has extensive experience representing respondents as in-house and outside trial counsel. He has represented companies of all sizes in Worker's Compensation matters, from small businesses to multinational corporations. He has prepared and argued successfully before the NJ Superior Court, Appellate Division.
Mr. Mello also has vast experience handling Social Security Disability matters. He worked at a national company representing the disabled before the Social Security Administration at administrative hearings. Mr. Mello has successfully represented claimants in 11 states and the District of Columbia.
Mr. Mello received his undergraduate degree from the Rowan University in 2003, and was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society. He received his law degree from Widener University School of Law (now Delaware Law School) in 2007. He is admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Mello is a Master in the Justice James H. Coleman, Jr., Workers' Compensation Inn of Court. He has presented several legal seminars including on such topics as: Motions for Medical and Temporary Benefits; Medicare conditional payments and Set-Asides; and Trending Legal Developments in Workers Compensation.
Mr. Mello is a member of the Camden County Bar Association.
