Todd Andrew Landau

Todd A. Landau graduated cum laude from American University in Washington DC with Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, Mr. Landau was a senior Articles Editor of the Administrative Law Review and was a member of the moot court team. Mr. Landau completed his undergraduate studies from Emory University in Atlanta where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Landau spent his first four years of practice in Manhattan, New York as an appellate attorney where he successfully argued cases in the intermediate appellate courts as well as the Court the Appeals, New York's highest state court. Mr. Landau has handled high profile cases in State and Federal District Court in Manhattan that made the front page of the New York Law Journal, and which are reported decisions also published on Westlaw.Mr. Landau relocated to Florida where he pursued a career as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami Dade County. There, Mr. Landau prosecuted many complex felony and serious misdemeanor cases and tried over 50 jury trials. Mr. Landau was also selected to handle several high profile media cases that were reported in the Miami Herald as well as being covered on local news channels including but not limited to CBS, ABC, NBC and various Spanish news networks. Mr. Landau was responsible for managing thousands of cases over his time as a prosecutor and has significant experience in the area of DUI defense.After four years as a prosecutor, Mr. Landau was recruited by the Office of General Counsel for United Automobile Insurance Group where he spent the last few years handling all aspects of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) litigation. Mr. Landau has tried a substantial number of civil jury trials and also served as the legal advisor to the attorneys at the Office of General Counsel.Mr. Landau possesses a unique perspective given his vast experience in both the civil and criminal arenas and looks forward to assisting and zealously representing you.
