Todd Nichols has been practicing law for thirty five years and has been with the firm since 1992. His practice emphasizes personal injury accidents, including injuries from automobile accidents, slip and falls, and from dangerous products. He handles cases ranging from neck and back injuries to brain injuries, burns, and death.
In addition, Todd handles employment cases, successfully prosecuting and defending cases of wrongful termination, discrimination, wage claims, and sexual harassment. He also represents clients in family law, real property, and professional malpractice, including medical and legal negligence. Todd enjoys bringing complex litigation to successful conclusion for his clients.
Todd received his undergraduate degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and his law degree from George Washington University in Washington D.C. Prior to practicing law, Todd served as a Naval Officer in the United States Sixth Fleet and nearly ten years as a Senior Staff Member in the United States House of Representatives. He is admitted to practice in the State of Washington, the District of Columbia, and federal courts including the U.S. Supreme Court. He has been honored by his peers by his election as president of the Washington State Association for Justice, formerly the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association. Todd has been named a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law & Politics Magazine.
In his spare time, Todd is active in Washington State politics and enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children. He is an avid boater and enjoys the outdoors.
