Todd graduated from the International Studies Specialized Learning Center at Freehold Township High School in 1990. He obtained a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University in 1994. Following college, he earned his law degree from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington Delaware in 1997. He was admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania the same year, and the State of New Jersey in 1998.
Upon graduating from law school, he clerked for the Honorable Frederick P. De Vesa, J.S.C., and then went on to work in private practice. Prior to joining the firm, Todd was employed by the State of New Jersey as a Deputy Attorney General where he represented the State in Workers' Compensation claims throughout New Jersey. This learning experience was invaluable in teaching how to move cases through the complicated Workers' Compensation system today for Levinson Axelrod.
Todd has been a coach for numerous towns in high-school mock trial competitions, and sat on the Executive Board of Jewish Family and Children's Services of Mercer County. He is a member of the Justice Coleman Workers' Compensation Inn of Court, and counsel to the New Jersey Advisory Council on Safety and Health, and works with various other community groups. Most recently, he has been asked to serve on the Executive Committee of Temple Beth Chaim's Mens' Club, and will serve as President in the near future.
Todd argued Martinez v. Silverine, 361 N.J. Super. 99 (App. Div. 2003), which resulted in a published opinion from the New Jersey Appellate Division. Over the years, this case has become the major case involving how benefits are calculated for injured workers who suffer an amputation, and has been referenced and upheld by numerous other Courts. One-hundred percent of his legal practice is devoted to helping injured workers. He has aggressively obtained benefits for thousands of injured workers in the State of New Jersey, and enjoys finding creative solutions to challenging cases. He lives with his wife, son and daughter in Princeton, New Jersey.
Todd has been Certified as a Workers' Compensation attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
