Travis Williams obtained his Bachelor's degree with honors from Florida State University before going on to law school. He also graduated with honors from Stetson University Law School. He received the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award given to the top trial litigator in the Class.Travis also worked as a Judicial Clerk for the 6th Judicial Circuit during law school.Travis Williams gained valuable criminal law experience as a former State Prosecutor for Orange and Osceola Counties in Florida. Travis left the State Attorney's Office in 2002 to pursue a career in criminal defense. He has tried a wide range of criminal cases and spent many hours in the courtroom developing his advocacy skills. Travis is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Florida. In addition to his list of clients, he is occasionally appointed by the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida to represent individuals charged with federal crimes.Travis is a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association. He also belongs to the Florida and Central Florida Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers. When Travis is not helping his clients, he is typically spending time and enjoying life with his wife, Francee and two daughters, Ella and Kate. He also enjoys numerous sports and the outdoors. On Saturdays during the fall, he can often be found with friends and family in Tallahassee cheering for the Seminoles.
