Trent West is a native to Nokomis, where his parents still reside. He has a degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and Thomas M. Cooley Law School (n/k/a Western Michigan University - Cooley Law School). While in law school, his concentration was litigation and advocacy for justice in the courtroom. That concentration has been put to use as he has represented clients in the courtroom in hearings, trials, and other matters.Mr. West has a wide range of legal experience. He has litigated criminal and municipal law from the prosecution side and the defense side. In the private sector, he has represented clients in personal injury cases, family law, estate administration (probate and non-probate), and various other civil law matters. Mr. West has also helped people with estate planning and bankruptcies.
Mr. West lives in Troy, Illinois with his wife, Krystal, and their three children. Mr. West and his wife are active members of the Metro East Community Rotary Club. They, as a family, enjoy volunteering and serving those that need help in and around their community, just as Mr. West does every day as an attorney. Mr. West is also a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association and Madison County Bar Association.
