Troy earned his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School, J.D., 1999 after graduating from Arizona State University in 1994, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Troy has been practicing law for 23 years. He is a successful partner who specializes in construction litigation, municipal/1983 claims, premises liability, retail, wrongful death, trucking claims, catastrophic injury, general tort liability, fire claims, large loss property damage claims, products liability, automobile negligence, transactional/commercial work and insurance coverage issues.
Troy has been repeatedly recognized and a part of Super Lawyers from 2011 - 2023 in the field of Construction Litigation and Municipal & Government Law. That honor is given to the top 5% of attorneys in Illinois as voted on by their peers. Troy has also been recognized multiple times as an Illinois Super Lawyer-Rising Star in 2011 & 2012 in the field of Construction Litigation. Troy has been a Cook Country arbitrator for 17 years. Troy is a frequent author and guest speaker in the insurance and construction industries, where topics of discussion regularly include issues concerning risk management, claims management and litigation strategies.
