Vincent presently serves as town attorney for the towns of Orange, Greenwich, Derby, North Branford, Bethany, and special land use counsel for the towns of Monroe, Seymour and Beacon Falls. He also represents the water pollution control authority in the towns of Orange, Derby, Stratford and North Branford and the board of education in Orange. He is recognized by Best Lawyers in America, (2018-2020) for his work in Municipal Law.
In his land use and zoning practice, Vincent often appears before planning and zoning commissions, inland wetlands commissions, zoning boards of appeal and other administrative agencies. He represents property owners. Neighborhood groups, and municipalities in administrative appeals and zoning and wetland enforcement proceedings.
Vincent also represent telecommunication tower developers before the Connecticut Siting Council and practices in state and federal court representing individuals and businesses in commercial litigation, construction litigation and bankruptcy matters.
Vincent is admitted to practice law in the States of Connecticut and New York, the District of Connecticut, the Eastern District of New York and the Southern District of New York.
Vincent has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in 2018, 2019 and 2020 for his work in Municipal Law and by SuperLawyers for the past 5 years. In 2004, the Connecticut Law Tribune recognized him with the "New Leaders in the Law" Award. In 2009, Business New Haven recognized him with the "Rising Start" Award. In 2013, the Boy Scouts of America recognized him with the Good Scout Award and in 2018, the Orange Chamber of Commerce recognized him as the "Businessperson of the Year."
In 2017, Vincent co-authored LexisNexis Practice Guide: Connecticut Administrative Law and Practice. a practice guide to administrative law in the State of Connecticut.
Vincent currently serves as the Governor's representative on the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority, a member of the CBA House of Delegates - District 9, as a member of the Commission on the Compensation of Elected Officials and as a Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation.
He is a member of the American, New York and Connecticut Bar Associations and is active in the Orange Chamber of Commerce. Vincent graduated from Quinnipiac College: School of Law in 1996, and SUNY Binghamton in 1993.
