Virginia Tehrani

A passionate trial attorney, Virginia Vile Tehrani focuses on each client and each case with a fresh look and a personal touch. Through college, law school, and her legal career, Ms. Tehrani has focused her training and experience in the courtroom. She has tried hundreds of cases, trained students in the art of trial advocacy, taught law school classes in two states, and mentored young lawyers as they began their own careers. Ms. Tehrani graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She attended law school at the College of William & Mary School of Law, and she graduated with highest honors from the George Washington School of Law with an L.L.M. in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. She practices law in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. As a criminal defense attorney and a prior business owner, Ms. Tehrani understands what it takes to invest in her clients and their cases. Individuals facing criminal charges, whether large or small, have questions and concerns. She takes the time to address each of these concerns with a thoughtful approach. Ms. Tehrani has served her community as a both a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney for over ten years. She has tried basic traffic matters and misdemeanors to serious assault, robbery, rape, and murder cases. As a prosecutor in Newport News, Virginia, she specialized in drug and weapons offenses, and she even worked on the City’s only capital murder case that was tried in decades. In addition to her criminal practice, Ms. Tehrani has also handled business and property litigation and civil defense cases. She is a member of the Virginia and Maryland State Bar Associations, the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association, and the Rockville Chamber of Commerce.
